The Chic wig was very soft and the density was perfect. It was very natural looking. The lenghth overall was a little shorter than expected which would not leave much room for cutting and styling. I will monitor the inventory and re-order as soon as one that I like becomes available.

This review is way overdue but I’m actually glad I waited, I love my Chic wig more than ever! I purchased my Chic wig 1 year ago on 2/03/23 and my Style wig over 3 years ago, I did do a review on my Style wig about 1 1/2 years ago. First of all both my experiences purchasing from Daniel Alain were wonderful, especially my second purchase when I went out to the Newport Beach showroom. Ashley and the entire DA staff were amazing, she was “so” patient as I went through many styles and colors, she truly wanted me to be 💯 satisfied. When I finally got down to the final 4 I would go out of the private fitting room to get additional opinions from the rest of the staff, they were all so genuine and enthusiastic with their comments as they would drop what they were doing to see my next wig, I even got to meet Mr. Daniel Alain! Each time I tried on a new wig, he would actually come out from his office to give his opinion, it was truly a wonderful experience! At the time I had my Style wig over 2 years and had been wearing it everyday. I washed it about once a week and had been styling it regularly with heat, even with all that it was still looking very good but I was now ready to go to the next level with the Chic wig.

I still wear my Style about thrice a week when I go to my health club or when I’m feeling sporty, it is still so much a part of me. I recently sent it back for some maintenance and it looks like new, however it is shorter and a different color than when I first got it. That is one of the many things I like about DA wigs, whatever you do with your own hair you can do to her. Even my hair stylists mention what good quality hair it is. When I want a new style and color I wear it to the salon and she colors, washes and cuts it while on my head and about 2 hours later I leave feeling amazing! I can’t grow my hair the way I like but even if I could it would never be as luxurious as my DA wigs.

My Chic has now become my go to wig for the majority of the week and on special occasions, last October I got so many compliments at my son’s wedding! She was originally 14”but is about 12” now and her new color is Ginger Snap which is amazing, I get so many compliments.

By gradually cutting my Style over the last few years I’ve gotten comfortable with shorter hair and will probably be cutting more of my Chic. Yes it’s hard choosing to cut it since it can’t grow back, not to mention you are also paying by the inch, but it is fun to try other styles and let it evolve with you as you go through healthy life changes. I’ll probably end up with a 10” butterfly cut.

If you’ve read this far I might as well mention that I’m a transgender woman, (if you haven’t already thought that). My biggest dysphoria has always been my hair and I have to tell you, when I put on my DA wigs all that goes away and I feel like a million bucks. At 66 I feel better than ever and taking on new challenges everyday, I have started new careers as a barista, bartender and now looking into management in the hospitality business! I truly cannot say enough good things about the quality and service I can expect with a Daniel Alain wig. Before my DA wig I had other very good quality human hair wigs but “none” can compare! If they can make me feel this good about myself imagine what they can do for you! I’ve always lived my life dreaming and making my dreams come true, “when your dream dies, you die”, currently I’m living another dream with some help from Daniel Alain! Thank y’all for truly making a difference!

Have been buying Folea wigs for the past 10 years, and went from Rene to Style and now Chic because I'm in my twenties now. The hair was beautiful but lost its sheen. We have had to color it once a twice a year. The sales rep told us because the cuticle is intact, that it would be more realistic. Used my style wig for workouts, and used the Chic wig for everyday wear. However, the hair came out in patches and now have a balding spot on the crown. I think it needs to be fixed with a guarantee because it is so expensive.

The Hair is so BEAUTIFUL however, I think the cap needs to be tweaked, there is a noticeable area where the silk top, lace front and silicone pad with a comb that I don't like. I removed the comb thinking it would flatten it out and make it more seamless but it didn't make a difference. Its too expensive of a wig to have that flaw, I would rather it be a full lace top so the transition would be cleaner without the bump that the transition, pad and comb create. Unfortunately it won't be my go to piece, may be a better unit if it had a bang to hide that flaw...Makes me sad.
